Cookie Policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

MAG Lubricants ("we", "our" or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the official MAG Lubricants website.

By browsing or using our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used in accordance with this Cookie Policy and your selected cookie preferences.

This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Business Contact & Partner Privacy Notice, Candidate Privacy Notice and Terms & Conditions.

Manage Your Cookie Preferences

You can review or update your cookie choices at any time through the cookie preference center.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your computer, mobile device, tablet or browser when you visit a website.

Cookies help websites recognize a user's device, remember preferences, improve functionality, enhance security and provide insights into how visitors interact with website content.

In this Cookie Policy, the term "cookies" may also refer to similar technologies, including scripts, web beacons, local storage, session storage and analytics tools used for website functionality, security, analytics and performance measurement.

2. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website properly, remember your choices, protect our forms and, with your permission, understand and improve website performance.

Cookies may be used to:

  • enable essential website functionality;
  • support website security, fraud prevention and system integrity;
  • remember user preferences and selected settings;
  • improve website performance and usability;
  • analyze website traffic and visitor interactions;
  • support forms, product selectors, digital tools, chatbot functionality and other website services where available;
  • measure website engagement, such as form submissions and Product Finder use, when Performance Cookies are enabled.

The current implementation uses necessary browser storage and services, plus optional performance measurement. No targeting or social-media tracker is currently registered by this website.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

We group cookies into the categories below.

Necessary Cookies Always Active

These technologies are required to store your privacy choice, protect forms from abuse, submit requested forms, and provide core website navigation. They cannot be switched off through our cookie preference center.

You can block site storage or required services in your browser, but parts of the website may not work properly. Necessary providers may process limited technical data, such as an IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the service.

Performance Cookies

With your permission, Vercel Web Analytics, Speed Insights, first-party page-speed and conversion measurement, and browser error monitoring may process page, device, network, and usage information so we can measure and improve this website.

These services stay off until you enable Performance Cookies. Turning this category off stops future collection and reloads the page when needed to unload an active SDK.

Targeting Cookies

This website does not currently use targeting or advertising technologies. This category is reserved for future use.

If such a service is introduced, it will stay off unless you enable Targeting Cookies. We will update our Cookie Policy and ask for your choice again before it is used.

4. Third-Party Cookies and Technologies

The following services receive visitor or form data through this website:

  • Vercel hosts and delivers the website and therefore processes ordinary request data such as IP address, user agent, requested path and timing. This necessary infrastructure is active when you request a page.
  • Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights receive page, device, network and performance data only after Performance Cookies are enabled.
  • Sentry receives minimized server error metadata when backend failures occur. Its browser SDK loads only after Performance Cookies are enabled, and browser user fields, query strings, request bodies and request headers are removed before sending.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile receives technical and interaction data when a page with a protected form loads, or when you open a protected pop-up form, such as the Request a Quote form. It is classified as necessary anti-abuse processing.
  • Microsoft Graph, SharePoint and the configured Microsoft 365 email transport receive contact or candidate data only when you submit the relevant form.
  • Cloudmersive receives an uploaded candidate document for malware scanning only when that optional scanning provider is configured.
  • The configured PostgreSQL and, for optional portfolio files, S3-compatible storage providers receive records required to process and retain submitted forms.

The footprint map on the home page, the distributor overview and the map on the Contact page use map files served from this website and make no requests to a mapping provider. Contact page map data © OpenMapTiles, © OpenStreetMap contributors.

Google, Meta/Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube tracking scripts are not currently embedded. Normal outbound links to LinkedIn and Google Maps are present; those destinations receive ordinary connection data only if you choose to follow a link.

5. Cookie Consent and Preference Management

On your first visit to the website, you may be presented with a cookie banner or cookie preference center allowing you to:

  • accept all cookies;
  • decline optional cookies;
  • manage cookie preferences by category;
  • save your selected cookie preferences.

Necessary Cookies are always active because they store your privacy choice and support security, requested forms and core website operation.

All other cookie categories are optional and may be accepted or declined through the cookie preference center.

You may modify or update your cookie preferences at any time through the website's "Manage Cookie Preferences" option, where available.

Disabling Performance Cookies stops optional analytics, conversion measurement and browser error monitoring. No current core content or form depends on that category.

When you withdraw an optional category, the website removes its registered scripts and queues and reloads the page where needed to detach an active SDK. Your revised choice applies before optional services can load again.

6. Browser Controls

Most internet browsers allow users to manage, restrict, block or delete cookies through browser settings.

You may configure your browser settings to:

  • block cookies;
  • delete stored cookies;
  • receive notifications before cookies are placed;
  • restrict certain categories of cookies;
  • clear browsing data and site storage.

Please note that restricting or blocking cookies may affect the availability, security or functionality of certain website features and services.

For additional information about cookies and browser controls, users may visit www.allaboutcookies.org.

7. International Use

MAG Lubricants is based in the United Arab Emirates and may process, transfer or store information collected through cookies and similar technologies in the UAE or in other countries where our systems, service providers, business operations or relevant partners are located.

Where required by applicable law, we apply appropriate safeguards designed to protect information collected through cookies and similar technologies when transferred internationally.

8. Cookie Retention

The mag_cookie_consent localStorage record expires after 183 days. The server-side proof-of-consent record is configured for deletion after 730 days and contains a one-way hash of your IP address, your browser's user agent, the page where you made the choice, the time of the choice, the policy version, the method and the selected categories.

Language, country, interface-position, recent-search and request-sheet preferences are kept in localStorage until you clear site data or the relevant feature removes them. Performance conversion deduplication keys use sessionStorage and end with the browser session.

Provider-side retention for Vercel Analytics and Sentry is set in the relevant provider account, not by this website's code.

You may clear locally stored website data through your browser settings. Clearing it also removes your recorded browser preference, so the consent banner will ask again.

9. Updates to This Cookie Policy

MAG Lubricants may amend, update or modify this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect operational, technological, legal, regulatory or business changes.

Any updates will be published on this page together with the revised effective date.

Users are encouraged to review this Cookie Policy periodically.
