8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website uses necessary localStorage preferences and technical services for hosting, security, requested forms and core operation. Vercel hosting, Cloudflare Turnstile and minimized server-error monitoring may process IP address, user agent, request path, timing or security signals when those services are used.

Optional performance processing consists of Vercel Web Analytics, Speed Insights, first-party page-speed and conversion measurement and consent-gated browser error monitoring. These services remain off until you enable Performance Cookies.

Google, Meta/Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube tracking scripts are not currently embedded. Normal outbound links to LinkedIn and Google Maps are present; those destinations receive ordinary connection data only if you choose to follow a link.

This website does not currently use targeting or advertising technologies. If one is introduced, it will stay off unless you enable Targeting Cookies, and we will update our notices before it is used.

Users may configure browser settings to decline or disable cookies. Certain website features or functionality may be affected as a result.

The technical service providers used by this website are Vercel; Sentry; Cloudflare Turnstile; Microsoft Graph, SharePoint and Microsoft 365 email; the configured PostgreSQL service; an S3-compatible portfolio-storage service when enabled; Cloudmersive malware scanning when enabled; and a configured incident-alert endpoint when enabled.

MAG Lubricants is based in the United Arab Emirates and may process, transfer or store personal information in the UAE or in other countries where our systems, service providers, business operations or relevant partners are located.

No method of electronic transmission or internet-based storage is completely secure. While we take appropriate steps to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Retention of Information

The automated retention job currently defaults to 7 days for expired rate-limit counters, 90 days for delivery logs and closed dead letters, 365 days for candidate database records, and 730 days for lead records, consent proofs and cookie-consent events. Security events and other lifecycle audit records are reported for authorized review at configured thresholds; the job does not automatically delete those review-only records.

At expiry, the code deletes the covered transient logs and database file archives and anonymizes the covered core lead or candidate record. It records SharePoint and S3 objects for authorized manual deletion; queueing does not delete a provider object. Unsubscribe suppression records are retained so an opt-out is not accidentally reversed. Provider mailbox copies, backups and provider-side telemetry require separate handling in the relevant provider.

Where information is no longer required, it may be deleted, anonymized or securely archived in line with applicable retention requirements.

16. Third-Party Websites and Social Media

The MAG Lubricants website may contain links to third-party websites, external platforms, embedded content or social media channels for convenience and informational purposes.

MAG Lubricants does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices, policies, security or content of external websites, platforms or third-party services.
